RIP Terry Martin.

Very sad news reached us that Terry Martin , mastershaper for Hobie , had lost his battle against cancer and passed a way peacfully at home on May 12th. Terry was an inspiration to many shapers , surfers and friends and has shaped over 80,000 boards since 1963 . Before that he was shaping out of his garage since he was 14 years old . Terry's moto was " My objective is to make someone happy in the water " and that he did for over 50 years , me being one of them . i'm sure when he met St Peter at the pearly gates he had a board order thrust into his hand and he picked up a planer straight away .

Jim Phillip's Bastard model . This guy's attention to detail in amazing . Imagine how long it took to make this fin match the stringers on the board .I can't wait to see it in the flesh .

Very excited! just sorted out the order with Micah Woods. Hi Guy's , It's been a long slog but the new website is finally up and running . Nearly all of the stock boards are on there except for some amazing deals on the Classsic Malibu's . One of my best customers is 21 today . This is Ritchie on his 10' Silver Spoon . If he keeps buying boards at this rate he should be able to open a museum by the time he's 31 . Keep ripping Rich .
